MQM Washington DC Actively Participated
in City of Springfield Elections. Winner Ms. Elaine McConnell Thanks MQM.(June-19-03)
The MQM Washington DC unit has actively participated in the local bodies
elections of the city of Springfield in Virginia. Based on her proposed tax cut
program and a well-designed transportation strategy, the MQM Washington DC has
supported Ms. Elaine McConnell to lead the city.
MQM's efficient work force ran her campaign using their organizational skills.
Ms. McConnell has beaten her three opponents by a considerable margin. She
thanked MQM workers for supporting her and for running her campaign. Ms.
McConnell also thanked MQM's central organizer who was present at the time of
the announcement of election results.
