MQM Delegation Meets With The Chief Minister Of Sindh Syed Qaim Ali Shah

The delegation informed the chief minister about the apprehension of the business community on the increasing activities of criminals of gang war

A delegation of Muttahida Quami Movement (MQM) met with the Chief Minister of Sindh Syed Qaim Ali Shah in the chief minister’s house today. The delegation was led by Deputy Convener of the Co-ordination Committee, Dr. Farooq Sattar. Other members of the delegation included the members of the MQM Co-ordination Committee Dr Sagheer Ahmed, Mr Kunwar Naveed Jameel, Mr Wasay Jalil and provincial minister Syed Sardar Ahmed.

Worsening law and order situation in Sindh, particularly in Karachi, increasing activities of the gang-war criminals and extortion mafia came under discussion during this meeting.

Dr. Sattar apprised chief minister Mr Shah about the apprehensions that are prevailing in the business community in Karachi due to the increase in the activities of these criminals of the gang-war in this holy month of Ramadan. He told the chief minister that the traders and business persons were forced to close their businesses for the sake of their personal safety.

Dr. Sattar told the chief minister that the traders were protesting after departmental stores came under grenade attacks and called for stern action against the criminal elements belonging to the gang-war.

Mr Shah assured Dr. Sattar that stern action would be taken against the criminals of the gang war and every possible step would be taken to protect the citizens.
