MQM USA 19th Annual Convention - Day 3

MQM USA successfully concluded its 19th annual convention in Dallas, Texas.  On the last day of this three-day event, titled “New Provinces, Stronger Pakistan”, the overall efforts of MQM USA were analyzed. Senior Deputy Convener, Nadeem Nusrat, announced the new Central Committee. The prejudicial comments of Interior Minister Chaudry Nisar, Chief Minister Punjab along with certain members of the media were also brought into notice.   The attendees unanimously accepted petitions for the formation of new provinces for a stronger Pakistan and the fair distribution of resources throughout the country.

Media and Communication Cell (Dallas) August 2nd 2015 | MQM USA successfully concluded its 19th annual convention in Dallas, Texas. This three-day event, titled “New Provinces, Stronger Pakistan”, had multiple sessions attended by MQM Senior Deputy Convener, Nadeem Nusrat, Member Raabta Committee Wasay Jalil, Member Central Executive Council Babar Ghauri, Senator Khushbakht Shuja’at, members Sindh Assembly Irum Azeem Farooqui and Adnan Ahmad along with a large number of Pakistani-Americans.

On the last day of this three-day event, the overall efforts of MQM USA were analyzed. Central Organizer,Junaid Fehmi, gave a detailed presentation regarding the activities of the organization and declared themto be successful and effective. New guidelines were set in place to open more membership offices and tofurther streamline organizational activities.

On the third and last day of the convention, Senior Deputy Convener Nadeem Nusrat, announced the new Central Committee.  Junaid Fahmi was named the new Central Organizer, Muhammad Arshad Hussain- Joint Central Organizer while Amir Qazi, Wakeel Ahmad Jamali, Wasim Zaidi, Saqib Mohiuddin, Tauseef khan, Asad Siddiqui, Gul Mohammad, Ali Hassan, Arif Siddiqui, Kamran Haider, Naseemusahar and Shamim Siddiqui were named members of the Central Organizing Committee. In a short statement, Nusrat Nadeem urged different chapters and wings to work with unity. He said that their goals are based on the pursuit of truth and they will never bow down in front of anyone.

At the conclusion of the Convention, the prejudicial remarks coming from the Interior Minister, the Chief Minister of Punjab and the media trial of MQM conducted by certain member of the press was also condemned.   The attendees unanimously accepted petitions for the formation of new provinces for a stronger Pakistan and the fair distribution of resources throughout the country. Those present at the convention reaffirmed their vow to the Quaid-e-Tehreek and promised that they would stand strong for arespectable and successful future for Pakistan till their last breath and will remain faithful to their leader. The Convention ended with prayers for the health and long life of Quaid-e-Tehreek, Altaf Hussain, easing of problems and the maghfirah of the martyrs to the cause.
